Empowering Women, Shaping Futures.

The Women of Vision (WOV) cell at the College of Applied Science (IHRD), Chelakkara, is a dedicated platform aimed at empowering and uplifting women through education, awareness, and skill development. The cell focuses on addressing gender-related challenges while promoting equality and fostering leadership qualities among women students. WOV works tirelessly to organize workshops, seminars, and outreach programs that encourage women to build confidence, embrace independence, and take on roles of social responsibility. These initiatives help create an environment where women are equipped to overcome barriers, achieve academic success, and contribute positively to society. By providing opportunities for holistic growth, the cell ensures that women develop the skills and mindset necessary to excel in both their personal and professional lives.

The vision of the Women of Vision (WOV) cell is to empower and inspire women, particularly those in rural communities, to realize their full potential. Through dedicated efforts in personal growth, education, and leadership development, WOV aims to help women break free from societal constraints and become agents of change. By instilling confidence and resilience, WOV envisions these women becoming future leaders who contribute to a more inclusive and equitable society. The ultimate goal is to create an environment where women can thrive and build a foundation for future generations to follow.

The mission of WOV is centered around providing a supportive environment where women can achieve both personal and academic success. The cell organizes workshops, mentorship programs, and community outreach initiatives, all aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by women, especially in rural areas. These programs are designed to enhance their knowledge, skills, and confidence while also promoting gender equality. Through these efforts, WOV ensures that women are not only empowered with the tools to succeed but also given the opportunity to thrive in all aspects of life. The cell’s work continues to inspire women to challenge stereotypes and take leadership roles, thereby advancing the cause of gender equity in society.
