RED RIBBON CLUB
COLLEGE OF APPLIED SCIENCE (IHRD), CHELAKKARA
The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of the College of Applied Science (IHRD), Chelakkara, is a student-led initiative dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, blood donation, and overall health and well-being. Functioning under the guidance of the Kerala State AIDS Control Society (KSACS), the club actively promotes safe and healthy lifestyles among students and the community. Through awareness campaigns, seminars, blood donation drives, and community outreach programs, the RRC educates students on the importance of preventive healthcare, voluntary blood donation, and the eradication of stigma and discrimination related to HIV/AIDS. The club also collaborates with healthcare organizations, government agencies, and NGOs to conduct workshops and interactive sessions that empower students with knowledge and encourage them to take proactive roles in social service. With a vision of creating an informed and compassionate society, the Red Ribbon Club of CAS Chelakkara remains committed to shaping a generation that is aware, responsible, and dedicated to promoting public health and social well-being.
