ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CLUB

COLLEGE OF APPLIED SCIENCE (IHRD), CHELAKKARA

The Entrepreneurship Development Club at the College of Applied Science, Chelakkara, has been actively promoting entrepreneurship among students through various engaging programs and activities. Recently, the club organized a "Talk with Successful Entrepreneurs" session, where students had the opportunity to interact with experienced entrepreneurs and gain valuable insights into the world of business. Additionally, the club hosted a seminar on "Entrepreneurship Development in Students," aimed at inspiring and motivating students to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path. The club also organized a "Food Fest" event, which allowed students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills by setting up and managing their own food stalls.

To further support practical learning, the club launched a cooperative store, managed and run by students themselves. This initiative provides students with hands-on experience in managing a business venture, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. Furthermore, the club organized an industrial visit to a nearby enterprise, offering students a closer look at the operations of a real-world business and helping them understand the challenges and strategies involved in running a company. These activities not only enhance students' entrepreneurial abilities but also deepen their understanding of business operations.

The Entrepreneurship Development Club envisions creating a dynamic ecosystem that fosters innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills, network with successful entrepreneurs, and gain practical experience in managing business ventures. Through these activities, we aim to inspire students to become job creators rather than job seekers and to contribute to the growth and development of our nation by nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
