The Film Club is an integral part of our college’s extracurricular activities, offering a dynamic platform for students to showcase their creativity, talent, and passion for cinema. Over the years, the club has organized a variety of events that cater to different interests and skill sets, including the Shakespeare Solo Contest, Script Writing Contest, Role-play, Photography Contest, Movie Quiz, Monologue Contest, and more. These activities provide students with opportunities to develop and hone their acting, writing, photography, and critical thinking skills, making the club an essential space for creative expression.
The club has also participated in prestigious competitions, such as the Hemopol 2024 Informative Video Making Competition and the Campfire Magazine Contest, further showcasing its engagement with the wider film community. Events like the Film Review Contest and Dubsmash competition allowed students to express their creativity and humor, while the Best Actor and Actress Contest helped participants refine their acting skills and stage presence. In addition, the club conducted an online survey on "TV Culture: Evolving or Declining," encouraging students to engage in thoughtful analysis and promote critical thinking.
