GRIEVANCE REDRESSEL CELL/INTERNAL COMPLAINTS COMMITTE
COLLEGE OF APPLIED SCIENCE (IHRD), CHELAKKARA
The Grievance Cell of our college plays an essential role in addressing the concerns and issues of students, faculty, and staff in a timely and efficient manner. The cell actively receives complaints related to both internal and external exams, working quickly to resolve problems such as incorrect question papers or inadequate exam facilities. In addition, it offers remedial classes for students who are struggling with specific subjects or topics, providing them with the extra support they need to improve their academic performance. For students who miss exams due to valid reasons, the cell arranges re-tests and offers guidance to those who may have scored low marks, ensuring every student receives an opportunity to succeed.
In addition to academic concerns, the Grievance Cell also addresses a wide range of other student issues, such as infrastructure-related problems, library facilities, and transportation concerns. The cell regularly conducts meetings with student representatives to hear their feedback and suggestions, fostering open communication and building a positive atmosphere within the college. By listening to the students' needs and acting on their suggestions, the Grievance Cell ensures that all students have a supportive and well-equipped environment in which to thrive.
The Grievance Cell collaborates closely with the college administration to resolve any ongoing issues and maintain a conducive learning environment. Its proactive approach has led to significant improvements in student satisfaction and academic performance. By tackling concerns quickly and effectively, the cell plays a crucial role in promoting student welfare and academic excellence, ensuring that all members of the college community feel supported, valued, and heard.
